Back From #RomCon14 and #Bigfoot Was a Hit! #taboo #erotica

When I decided to take a few copies of The Bigfoot Chronicles 1 and 2 with me to RomCon, I didn't know what sort of reaction I would get from them. I was pleasantly surprised and then overwhelmed by the reaction. 

The readers LOVED IT! Whoohoo!

Now you all know, I'm one of four pen names for Tammy Dennings Maggy (my real name is actually Tammy Smith!). The four of "us" write in a variety of genres and various heat levels. My Bigfoot books are definitely not a traditional romance and are more erotica. Yes, there is a romantic element and I think I put a different twist with these tales compared to the others in the monster erotica genre. That's what makes this genre intriguing to me. There are so many different takes on the monster/human couplings so we have something for everyone.

The response to Ashar and Bryanna's story proves it. Of course there were some who had me sign their books to other people. *wink wink* These folks tickled me to no end. To think they'd stop by and give a new author a chance as well as try out a taboo genre—well, let's just say I'm still smiling from ear to ear.

This experience has inspired me to push the envelope even more with the third book in the trilogy. It's going to be longer than the first two, maybe even longer than those combined as there is so much these characters keep showing me. Because of the fabulous response at RomCon, my publisher is pushing up the release of the eBook version of the combo book so look for that to go live within the next few days. You all know how Amazon can be. They could have a delay, or things could go up in a flash! LOL

#OhMy! It's Time for the Special Edition #Bigfoot Chronicles 1 & 2 #CoverReveal

Welcome back to my little corner of the blogosphere. I'm happy to announce the print version of my Bigfoot Chronicles 1 & 2 is now awaiting final approval before we can order copies to take with us to RomCon in less than three weeks. Denver won't know what hit them when the readers get their hands on my taboo tales. 

Why will my book be at a romance convention? Well, my publisher will be there and so will I. For those of you who haven't figured it out yet, I'm one of FOUR pen names for the same person. It's fun to keep up the tongue in cheek pretense that we're separate people, but we're all ME. It's simply easier to keep the various categories and heat levels my work falls into separate if I use different pen names. It helps readers know right off what sort of storyteller they're tackling just by the name on the front.

Enough of that. Here's what all of you came here to see. The print galley mock up of the new cover.

I love how they have Bryanna in shadow on the back. It gives the illusion that Ashar is hovering over her, out of view of the camera. We had to keep his features hidden again in this cover because we have major reveals for the last in the trilogy. Of course I already spilled the one big one here on the blog. Shocked? LOL! Many others are too and can't wait for the conclusion in Bigfoot's Revenge (The Bigfoot Chronicles 3). Look for that release in late July/August. I'm shooting for that but this story keeps taking on more twists. This part me end up being longer than the first two combined!

#CoverReveal for The #Bigfoot Chronicles 1 and 2 from Author @Tawny_Savage #taboo #erotica

I know I'm a bit late with this tonight, but I wanted to get it out there before midnight so it could still be considered a Wild and Wicked post. I'm so excited to be able to reveal the cover for the eBook version of The Bigfoot Chronicles 1 and 2. I took everyone's advice and decided to release the two of them together as one eBook and print. I'll let you know the details for release dates as soon as I have them but for now...

I'm thrilled with the way it turned out. This one shows the Bigfoot Ashar still in shadow and all monster like and Bryanna leaning into him and maybe a bit wiped out after one of their...uhhhh...sessions. hehehehe

Anyway, I hope you enjoyed the first two books enough to want to get the compilation. If you know of anyone who hasn't read either of them yet, this one will be ideal for them. There won't be any added material. It's just going to be both novellas in one file, under one cover so to speak.

#Wild&Wicked Wednesday: Should I or Shouldn't I...

Welcome to my space here on blogger. I've been hard at work on a few projects and need to ask everyone a question. Should I or shouldn't I release the first two installments of the Bigfoot Chronicles as a special edition print? You see, I'd like to be able have a few print books to give out to celebrate the release of the last installment of the trilogy. This way it would get readers ready for the finale and have one more way to get the buzz going around about my Bigfoot stories.

Speaking of the buzz...

I've also been working on a short novella to introduce my contribution to the Sassy Vixen Publishing Temptations Resort shared world series. The first one will actually be in the Season of Sun and Sin anthology and called "Silk Seductions." That's also the name of the brothel/resort in Nevada (fictional!) where the stories are set. The offshoot of the Silk Resort series is the Silk N Satin line within the Temptations Resort series. SnS is the name of the adults only establishment that offers the escort services on the island paradise. The owner of both places, Margarite Rouseau will surprise you. She's tough as nails but cares deeply for the escorts in her employ. 

Enough teasing for now. As I write this, I decided to go ahead and do the special print release of Brigid's Blessing and Bigfoot Claims His Mate together in one bound volume. Once the third novella is finished, that one may be in print all by itself. I have to wait to see how long it is before I decide that. No matter what, all three will be together as one ebook and print before Christmas. So excited!

I'd still like to hear your thoughts. Should I or shouldn't I put out the first two novellas together as one print book? If yes, should I also put it out as an ebook?

Nothing is in stone yet. Sassy Vixen Publishing is giving me free reign for this project. Go ahead and tell me what you think!

Welcome back to Erotic Tales by Tawny Savage. This week I've joined a great group of authors to share six paragraphs from one of our works in progress or previously published works. This week, I'm sharing another part of Brigid's Blessing (The Bigfoot Chronicles 1). I thought it would be a great idea to continue to tease you with snippets from this and the second book until the last one comes out later this summer.

The last six paragraphs I shared with everyone here was from a scene toward the beginning of the book. This time, I thought it would be fun to share the six OPENING paragraphs to set the mood for the entire story. To refresh your memory a bit, here's the blurb...

WARNING: This is a work of fiction detailing very EXPLICIT SEX between humans and the creature known as Bigfoot. ADULTS ONLY! 

Bryanna Stevens was slowly dying inside. The safe and consensual sexual relationship with her husband Travis had slowly deteriorated into one filled with torment and abuse. With nowhere to turn, she pleaded her case to the Goddess Brigid. She offered herself up to the gods to do as they see fit if they’d grant her one wish—to conceive a child of her own. 


Hell bent on avenging mutilation and death of his pregnant mate, Ashar risks everything to make the humans pay. Instead, he’s blindsided by his desire for the naked beauty stretched out over an altar, pleading for the gods to give her a child. Before he can stop himself, he’s kneeling beside her. Could she be the one to save the Forest People and mend his broken heart or the one to destroy them all? 

April 15th, Present Day, McCloud, California

“Bryanna! Get your ass out here, honey. You’re gonna miss the toast.” Travis Stevens loved to throw parties for his buddies and their wives. It didn’t matter the occasion, just as long as he could put out a big spread and ply them all with booze. He spared no expense. Nothing was too good for his friends and tonight he outdid himself—thanks to her.

I’d be out there a bit faster if you’d get off your ass and help. “I’ll be right there.” She grabbed the rest of the champagne glasses from the cupboard and placed them on the serving tray. Bryanna took a deep, cleansing breath, held it for a few seconds, and then slowly exhaled. Not only did she spend the entire night running around serving their guests, Travis expected her to be a mind reader as well. If he would’ve told her he wanted to serve champagne, she would’ve had the glasses ready to go. Now here she was rushing around the kitchen again while he barked at her to hurry up.

Travis smiled broadly as she entered the room, but his eyes betrayed his annoyance with her. To keep up the appearance of the happy host, he rushed forward to take the tray from her. “There you are. Let me help you with those.” He clenched his teeth together and hissed so only she could hear him. “Took you long enough. Are you trying to make me look bad in front of our friends?

She kept her voice low and continued to smile to hide the fact she wanted to punch him in the face. “They’re your friends. Not mine. If you’d given me any sort of direction for this shindig, I could’ve had everything exactly as you wanted it.”

“We’ve been having these same parties every Tax Day for the last eight years. You should know what I want by now.”

“What the fuck ever. Just pop the cork on the bubbly and let’s get this farce over with. I have better things to do with my time then to wait on your friends hand and foot.”

It's Cover Reveal Time for #BIGFOOT'S REVENGE by @Tawny_Savage #monster #erotica #taboo

I'm so excited! Today Sassy Vixen Publishing gave me the go ahead to reveal my cover. Just moments ago it went live on their blog and now it's my turn. The last installment in my Bigfoot Chronicles trilogy will be released sometime this summer. We're shooting for June, but life can get in the way at times so we've not locked it down just yet. When we have the final date, you will be the first to know.

Another great surprise they sprung on me today...

Sassy Vixen Publishing will release The Bigfoot Chronicles together in one eBook and in print format. Whoohoo! The entire story will be under one "roof" so to speak. So stay tuned folks! I'll let you know when the collection is released. Until then—

I was so busy this week that I missed the deadline to sign up for this hop! ARRRGGGH! No matter. I'll still share my six paragraphs and you all can still check out the other participants by clicking HERE. 

I will sign up for this again over the next month but not sure if I can do every single week. Things are a bit frazzled around here with working on the last novella in the Bigfoot Chronicles and the cover, helping out with Sassy Vixen's summer anthology and getting ready for RomCon and the RNC conventions. So excited!

Back to the topic for today. The following is an short excerpt from Bigfoot Claims His Mate (The Bigfoot Chronicles 2). The same warning applies here as it did for the first book. I write very explicit, dark fantasy erotica. This trilogy is classified as MONSTER EROTICA. That means there are sex scenes between humans and the creatures known as Bigfoot. Blurb:

Bryanna Stevens finally found her true soul mate—in the form of the nearly seven foot wall of muscle and hair known by many as Sasquatch. To her he’s Ashar, the next Chief of the Forest People and the object of all her lust and desire. 

Once tormented by the hatred he harbored for the humans who killed his mate and unborn child, Ashar finds welcome relief and love in the arms of the wife of his sworn enemy.

This is actually the first six paragraphs from the first chapter. It picks up right where the first novella left off, right after Ashar and Bryanna have sex for the first time. In this scene, the bigfoot Ashar is confronted by his tribe's shaman, Etsey. 

May 2nd, Present Day Siskiyou Mountains

Hidden Village of the Forest People

Etsey’s angry eyes bore into him. “Do you have any idea how much danger you’ve brought to our tribe? You most of all know the violence the humans can rain down upon us. Taema’s been buried a year and you continue on this vendetta. Enough! If you’re to be Chief, your actions must set an example for the rest.” The shaman touched him on his face and her features softened. “Ashar…you are the future of our people. You must find a proper mate before your father moves on to the next world.”

He leaned into her touch. Etsey had helped raise him after his mother died during childbirth. The loss had devastated his father, Baali. Not only did he lose his mate, he had three young children to raise. Fortunately Etsey was there. As Shaman it was her responsibility to help, but as their grandmother it was her joy and honor to raise them. At least that’s what she always told them when asked why she didn’t allow the others to help out more.

“I couldn’t stay away from her. Her pleas to the Goddess wrenched my heart in two. I know her pain. Taema and I longed for children. Did you know she was with child when Travis and his friends killed her?” Tears spilled down his cheeks and into his beard. “I lost a part of me that day I thought would never return—then I saw her.”

“So you did as you forbid the others to do. You intended to hurt the humans just as they hurt you. I know about the other woman. Did you think you could just get them all with child and see who survived?”

He averted his eyes. “It was my plan in the beginning, yes. But things changed last night. Something inside of me changed and I don’t want to go back to the way I was.” He couldn’t believe he’d actually fucked the first human and she lived through it. He really didn’t care one way or another if the child she carried was his or not. It was the satisfaction he derived from her husband begging him to spare his life and take his wife in exchange that gave him the thrill. Fucking coward. When it came right down to it, most humans seemed weak compared to any of the Forest People.

Last night however, Ashar had met his match. This soft and inviting woman embraced him, kissed him back and screamed for him to keep taking her. She’d wrapped her arms and legs around him and gave herself completely over to his lust. Her scent drove him wild with desire and he longed to bury his tongue into her and drink her juices again and again. Not even Taema had ever made him feel this way.
